Smiling woman talking on a phone

The fastest way to reach Trades Lead Engine is to call (726) 224-4920, email leads@tradesleadengine.com, or send the form above. Every request goes to a strategist, who follows up to learn about your trade, your service area, and the kind of work you want more of. If you would rather see data first, request a free Lead Engine Scorecard and we will start there.

Our team has worked with Texas businesses since 2009. Trades Lead Engine works with trade contractors all over Texas, from Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth to El Paso, Lubbock, and the Rio Grande Valley, remotely and on site when needed.

What happens next

What to expect after you contact us

No sales script and no pressure. Here is how a first conversation usually goes.

01

You reach out

Call or send the form with a few details about your company, the area you serve, and what you want to change. A short note is enough, and you can add more detail on the call.

02

A strategist follows up

A strategist reaches out to ask about your trade, your busiest services, your current marketing, and where your best jobs come from.

03

We look at the data

If it helps, we prepare a Scorecard comparing your website, Google Business Profile, Map Pack rankings, reviews, and AI visibility with nearby competitors.

04

You decide what is next

The strategist explains what to fix first and why. You can act on it yourself, ask us for help, or simply keep the findings. There is no obligation either way.

Come prepared

What to have ready before you talk with a strategist

You do not need anything special to start a conversation. A few details, though, help a strategist give you specific advice on the first call instead of general ideas.

If you already have a Google Business Profile, it helps to know who controls it. Google explains how profile owners can add or remove owners and managers. If your website is connected to Google Search Console, the same applies: property owners can grant access to other users without handing over their own login. Knowing where these accounts live now makes the next steps faster later.

If your trade is licensed, have the license number handy. Homeowners can check many trade licenses with the TDLR license search and plumbing licenses through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, so we want your website and profile to show those details accurately.

By trade

Helpful details to share, trade by trade

Every trade books work differently. Sharing a few of these details helps a strategist focus on the jobs that matter most to your business.

TradeUseful to mentionWhy it matters
HVACYour mix of repair, replacement, and maintenance work, and how many calls you can handle in peak summer.Replacement jobs and maintenance plans often deserve different pages and campaigns than emergency repairs.
PlumbingWhether you offer 24/7 emergency service, water heaters, drain work, or leak detection.Emergency availability changes how your profile, website, and call coverage should be set up.
RoofingHow much of your work is storm and insurance related versus retail replacement.Storm-driven roofers need pages and call coverage ready before hail season, not after it.
RemodelingYour typical project types, the size of job you want, and the neighborhoods you prefer.Clear project focus keeps small, poor-fit inquiries from crowding out the work you want.
ElectricalResidential services such as panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, and rewiring.High-value services often need their own pages to rank and to explain the job to homeowners.
SolarYour service territory, battery offerings, and any utility programs you participate in.Utility program details and battery questions change what content homeowners need before they call.
LandscapingYour mix of design, installation, and recurring maintenance work, plus services like irrigation or hardscaping.Recurring maintenance and one-time installation projects attract different customers and need different pages.
PaintingWhether you focus on interior, exterior, cabinet, or commercial painting, and the size of job you want.Before-and-after photos and a clear prep process help homeowners compare painters on more than price.
General contractingYour typical project types, such as additions, renovations, or custom builds, and whether you manage permits.Defined project scopes and visible credentials help attract serious projects and filter out poor-fit inquiries.

Why contractors call

Common reasons trade contractors contact Trades Lead Engine

Most conversations start with one problem. Here are the ones we hear most, and the service page that explains how we approach each.

“Our website is outdated”

Slow pages, no mobile click-to-call, and no service or city pages. A rebuild usually launches in 6–10 weeks.

“We don’t show up in the Map Pack”

Competitors appear for your best services while you sit on page two or not at all.

“Our Google profile is a mess”

Wrong categories, old hours, missing photos, or a profile nobody on the team can log in to.

“We miss calls after hours”

Storm days, heat waves, and evenings send callers to voicemail and then to the next company.

“Our competitors have more reviews”

A steady, policy-compliant review process helps close the gap without shortcuts.

“AI tools don’t mention us”

Homeowners ask AI assistants for recommendations, and your company is not in the answer.

Before you reach out

Questions contractors ask before they contact a strategist

Straight answers so you know what you are getting into.

Is there a cost to request a Scorecard?

No. The Lead Engine Scorecard is free, and there is no obligation to work with us. It is the clearest way for a strategist to show you where your marketing stands today.

Do I need an existing website to reach out?

No. We talk with established companies that want better results and newer contractors who are building their first real online presence. If you have no website yet, the conversation simply starts with your trade, service area, and goals.

Do you work with contractors in my part of Texas?

Yes. We work with trade contractors all over Texas, including Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, Waco, Tyler, and the Rio Grande Valley. We work remotely and on site when needed, so distance is rarely a barrier.

Which trades do you work with?

HVAC, plumbing, roofing, remodeling, electrical, solar, landscaping, painting, and general contractors. If your trade is closely related, reach out anyway and a strategist will tell you plainly whether we are a good fit.

What if I already work with a marketing company?

That is common. A Scorecard can show how your current setup compares with nearby competitors. Whatever you decide, make sure your domain, website, and Google Business Profile are in your company’s name. With us, they always stay that way.

How will you use the information I send?

We use the information you provide to respond to your request, prepare your Scorecard if you ask for one, and follow up with you about it.

What will a marketing plan cost?

It depends on what you need. The biggest factors are how many services and service areas you want to target, how competitive your market is, and how much work your website and Google Business Profile need at the start. A strategist will explain those trade-offs on the call, so any recommendation is sized to your goals rather than a one-size package.

What if I don’t know who owns my domain or Google Business Profile?

That happens often, especially when a previous web designer or agency set things up. Bring whatever you know to the call. A strategist can explain where to look, such as your domain registrar account and the users listed on your Business Profile, and what to ask for so the accounts end up in your company’s name.

Can my office manager or business partner join the conversation?

Yes, and it often helps. The person who answers your phones or manages scheduling usually knows where leads get lost, and a partner may have different goals for growth. Invite whoever will help make decisions.

Can I just call instead of filling out the form?

Yes. Call (726) 224-4920 and tell us a little about your business. A strategist can take it from there, whether you want a quick answer or a full Scorecard review.

Questions worth asking

Before you hire any contractor marketing company

Whether or not you choose us, a few questions will tell you a lot about any agency. Ask them on the first call, and pay attention to how directly they answer. Clear, specific answers usually signal a company that will be clear with you about results later, too.

  • Who will own my domain, website, and Google Business Profile? The answer should be your company.
  • Are the leads you generate shared with or sold to anyone else? Exclusive should mean exclusive.
  • What will I see each month? Look for calls, leads, and booked jobs, not just traffic charts.
  • Do you guarantee rankings? No one controls Google or AI assistants. A guarantee is a warning sign.
  • How do you get reviews? Paying for reviews or filtering who gets asked can break platform rules. The Federal Trade Commission’s rule on fake reviews also bans fake and undisclosed insider reviews.
  • What happens if I leave? You should keep everything you paid to build.

If an agency hesitates on any of these, keep asking until the answer is clear. A strategist from our team will answer every one of them on your first call.

Our side of the call

How a strategist prepares for your first conversation

A good first call should feel useful even if you never hire us. Before we talk, a strategist usually looks at what is already public: your website on a phone, your Google Business Profile, the reviews homeowners see, and who shows up when someone searches for your main service in your area.

That preparation lets the conversation skip the basics. Instead of asking what you do, the strategist can ask why a certain service is missing from your site, whether your profile categories match the work you want, or how you currently handle calls that come in after 5 p.m.

You will get direct answers, including when something is working well and does not need to change. You will also hear which problems matter most for revenue and which can wait, because fixing everything at once is rarely the smartest use of a contractor’s budget. If the best next step is a fix your office can handle in an afternoon, we will say so.
