The short version: we have never sold your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. Here is what that means, and how to exercise your rights anyway. Last updated 12 September 2026.
Trades Lead Engine, a division of FOG Digital Marketing LLC, does not sell personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising or profiling. We have never done either.
You do not need to submit anything to be opted out. There is nothing to opt out of. The rest of this page explains what that means and how to exercise your other privacy rights anyway.
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, a “sale” means sharing personal data with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, “sharing” also covers disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even when no money changes hands.
Both definitions are broader than most people expect, which is why we set out below exactly what leaves our systems.
This website runs no advertising pixels, no retargeting tags and no data broker integrations.
We sell marketing services. We do not sell leads. An enquiry you send us is not passed to another contractor, resold, or shared with anyone who competes with you. Leads generated for a client belong to that client alone, and are never shared with another company in the same trade and market.
Whether or not a business sells data, Texas and California residents have rights over the personal information a business holds. You may ask us to:
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
Use whichever is easiest:
Tell us what you want us to do and give us an email address or phone number we can reply to. To protect you, we may need to verify your identity before we act, usually by confirming details you have already given us. We will not ask you to create an account to make a request.
We respond within 45 days. If a request is complex we may extend once by a further 45 days, and we will tell you before we do.
You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm the request is genuine.
You have the right to appeal. Reply to our decision, or email leads@tradesleadengine.com with “Appeal” in the subject line, and we will review it and respond within 60 days with our decision and the reasoning behind it. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request. Because we do not sell or share personal information, the practical effect is the same either way.
